This is our first typica from Panama. Normally, we will only have the catuai varietal on our offerings. Finca Valentina is located at the foothils of the Volcan baru in the region of Los Narajos in Boquete, Panama.

The altitude of the farm is between 1500 and 1650 meters above sea level and temperature is between 15 to 20 C all year round with great balance of rain, shade and sun. It is has a perfect microclimate to grow coffee. The size of the farm is 13.5 hectares and 9 hectares is planted with coffee and the remaining is planted with timber woods. Apart from Typica, Finca Valentina produce various varietal notably Geisha, Red Catuai and Pacamara.

The farm has a very long history. Currently the farm is operated by the 3rd generations of the Osorio family. The Osorio family has been planting coffee since the 1900 and began full production since 1922. However, in 1942, the price of coffee droped and the Osorio family stopped producing coffee. In 2007, The grandsons of David Osorio, Efrain & Benjamin acquired a coffee farm to restart the family tradition of coffee. The name Valentina was picked in honor of their Mother. When their grandfather started the coffee planting business, the name of the farm was Finca de Café Osorio whish is located in Alto Lino.

The cup is juicy. Upon grinding the dry aroma is citrus, grapefruit, honey, and black tea. The mouth of the sip is orange juice, grapefruit, and vanilla scent, with orange peel and orange peel fragrance, clean flavor, balanced and supple.
