Panama Damarli Estate Noble Caturra Select Natural
Damarli Estate is no stranger in the world of specialty coffee. Its farm is located hidden in the mountains of Boquete, Panama. The farm was founded back in 1995 when David Pech purchased the farm. The farm was named DAMARLI after the initials of the investors. DAvid, MAnfred, Ruth, LIa. In 2014, Keith Pech, moved from the States to Boquete to continue and developed the farm.
Most of the trees were planted back in 1996 and began to produce in 2001. Primarily, the coffee was sold locally for local consumption. When Keith moved to Boquete, this was the beginning of a new chapter for the beans. Keith began to identify all the unique varieties that is marketable internationally. Over time, the process of the coffee is now being done at the farm itself.
Geisha are the exclusive beans planted at the farm. What we have here is the high end Cattura which is grown and treated the same way as the Geishas and other varietals. The coffee is grown at an altitude of 1500 masl.
This coffee is delicate. This coffee is jazzy. Roasted light to bring the best of this coffee. When ground, it has a strong cherry, rum, berry grape and wine aroma. When sip, its tart like wine and cherry stains. Its ended with blackberries and raisin notes. Flavour is strong and full.
