This coffee is a unique find for a coffee that usually produce the region classic floral and citric profiles. The farm sits at a very high altitude of 2026. This microlot coffee is produced by Abraham Ageze. His is a pastor, a coffee farmer, a mill owner as well as general pillar of his small community. Together with his wife and his four children, they own an operate 13 small farms around Idedo, a small community located in the north east of Yigharcheffe.
Yigharcheffe is common for producing a citric and floral coffee and it is loved by many. What we have here is a small lots of coffee of the Kurume varietal that is produced by Mr Abraham Ageze. Located at a very high altitude, his coffee is produced an uncommon tasting notes for a coffee that is produced in Yigharcheffe.
At his mill, they currently only produce natural process coffee. Theres around 70 African beds that make up the mills drying station. At a very high altitude, the cherries matures slowly and produced a very aromatic and mouthfeel coffee. Quality is important for Mr Abraham. Red and ripe cherries are handpicked for processing. At high altitude too, the cherries are dried slower this somewhat made the difference in taste and aroma for this exceptional nanolot.
