Colombia - Hacienda Villa Clemencia (Microlot)
Patricia Builes’s family has run the farm La Hacienda Villa Clemencia for more than 45 years and the knowledge of coffee production has been passed down from generation to generation. The estate is located in Risaralda in the west of Colombia at an altitude of 1650 meters above sea level. The soil is volcanic and loamy, and therefore very nutritious.
This specific lot is planted at 1800 masl. At high altitude, caturra varietal will generate high load of sweetness and uniformity and complexity and good structured acidity in the coffee. This coffee is process as washed coffee at the farm.
This coffee has particular notes and a cup profile that connoisseurs have come to expect, making it a memorable product. The coffee has a good body of darjeeling tea with an aroma and flavor of blueberry, pinapple and mandarin orange like notes. The acidity is mild, with a long lasting after taste
