This small farm is small in size, owned by a lady by the name of Cleily Rios. The total farm size is only 4 hectares. She is one of many producers of coffee in Guatemala. This coffee was an auction lot coffee for the year 2019. The auction was a first auction held for a microlot producers in Guatemala. Among 150 participating producers, only 21 of the coffee lots were selected. This coffee that we have here are among the top 21 specialty microlot producers of that competition. The competition was organized by Perfect Daily Grind.
This farm is located in Los Planes, near Acatenango and Chimaltenango. The farm currently produces only Pacamara and Geisha at a very small quantity approximately 500 kg from the 4 hectares farm that they own. At the auction, its coffee score an average score of 87.54 points.
This Pacamara is process as full washed, expect a good feel acidity. Normally the pacamara that we normally roast are natural process Pacamara where the notes are layered acidity and thick chocolate afterfeel.
For this coffee, the dry notes are blackcurrant and grape. At first sip, the main notes is towards cranberries with the tartness of papaya peel and orange peel. This washed coffee is juicy and the palate is full and thick. It as an orange flavour after taste.
